When many people think of the future they think of computers, and when computers are brought up, Artificial Intelligence isn’t very far. For those who do not know, Artificial Intelligence (or AI for short) is a branch of Computer Science that aims to create an intelligence program that can think for itself. The applications for this is endless, and as we explore this Science further we as the human race can accomplish many things.
The Introduction of AI will make life on Earth easier, and since computers process information 10x faster than we do we will see a dramatic change in our current technologies. What I mean by this is if it took us 100 years to transit from steam to nuclear power AI will cut that time to only 10 years. So in short, what would would take us 500 years to accomplish would only take 100 years, and as the processing power increases so does the time.
But there are some blockades, in order to reach an optimum level of AI we would need to engineer a computer with the ability to process at a Quantum level. Our current processing level currently does not meet the standards, and for those who have no clue how a Quantum process works, it is basically a computer with a broader language. What I mean by broader language is this, many computers speak in 0 and 1’s, while a computer that process’s at a Quantum level has the option of choosing any number from 0-9.
The only computer we are aware that has a Quantum processor is the human brain, our brains is the only definition of advanced Artificial design we know of. Why you ask? It is as simple as this, our brains learn, and as soon as we can grasp what actually causes this strange phenomena we can evolve our technology exponentially. I actually see that as we unlock one the other will open up, it’s like they come in pairs.
Unlocking Artificial intelligence will bring in a new age of technology, everything from Robotics to Medicine. I also would’nt be surprised if the building of Androids would come up, I mean these sentient life forms would need a place to live other than the computer. This would change the way of life dramatically. Artificial Intelligence is coming, are you ready.
